“Ticket pickup at 9am was great, however, we needed to be at the castle parking lot at 0920 to catch a bus to the top for a 1020 tour. It’s a 10min drive so no big deal, but my family was still at the hotel because we thought we would get our tour time at pickup (which is what the website says). We didn’t expect it to be immediate. We couldn’t make the bus and had to walk up the mountain to the top (30min walk for young/fit). We got there just as our tour (1020) started. Overall, neuschwanstein is gorgeous, the tour is great, the views are breathtaking. Well…”

Read more”
