Bavaria: Action Whitewater Rafting Adventure - The 15-Minute Safety Briefing

Bavaria: Action Whitewater Rafting Adventure

1.Bavaria: Action Whitewater Rafting Adventure

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 56 reviews · 4 hours · from $87Our pick

Meet your guide at Outdoor Center Baumgarten, suit up with safety gear and neoprene socks, then ride by bus to the river near Lofer. After a 15-minute safety talk, paddle as a team through Bavaria’s white water and stop for a 4-meter jump into a natural pool. River conditions shape how wild the ride feels.

“It was a really enjoyable experience. The team kept participants engaged from start to finish, which I found very fair and well done. The rafting itself naturally depends on the river conditions, but even on a relatively calm day like ours, the guide managed to create fun and exciting moments, which we greatly appreciated. The only aspect that I think could be improved is the cleaning of the neoprene suits. From what I observed, dipping 30–40 suits briefly into two buckets of water didn’t seem very hygienic. I hope this part of the process will be enhanced in the future.”
